Okay, so, I finally got around to tackling the Last Light Inn in Baldur’s Gate 3. I’d heard so much about it, both good and bad, so I was kinda nervous going in. My first move? I saved. Like, five different save files. Just in case.

Getting My Bearings
I wandered around the inn, talking to everyone. I wanted to get the lay of the land, figure out who was who, and soak up the atmosphere. I listened for any juicy gossip or hints about what I should be doing.
- I met the strange traders.
- I checked out the rooms.
- I had a good listen to the conversations between the patrons.
Isobel
I talked with isobel and tried to protect her as the enemies came.
The Battle Begins…
And man many enemies showed up! There were more enemies than i had anticipated.
Reload and Rethink
I took a step back, reloaded an earlier save, and started planning. I studied the layout of the inn, thought about the best places to position my party, and considered which spells and abilities would be most effective. A little preparation goes a long way.
Retrying the Fight
Back into the fray! This time, I was ready. I used the environment to my advantage, set up some choke points. It was still tough, but the enemies all got taken out.

After the Battle
I made sure to heal all my party members, looted every enemy and container, and double-checked that I hadn’t missed anything important.
I had to replay the fight at Last Light Inn several times before I got it right. It’s a tough encounter, but a very important and satisfying one!
