Okay, let’s talk about how I got my hands on a helicopter in GTA 5. I wanted to fly around, do some sightseeing from above, you know? So, I started looking into how to actually get one of these things.

After saving up enough cash, I went ahead and bought a helicopter. It wasn’t the fanciest one, but it was mine. Now, here’s the thing: you need a place to store your helicopter, a helipad. I didn’t know that at first. I thought I could just call it up like a car. Nope. So, I had to buy a helipad too. More money spent, but hey, I was committed at this point.

Once I had my helicopter and helipad, I could finally fly around whenever I wanted. I’d call up my helicopter from the “Vehicles” menu, and it would spawn at my helipad. Taking off and flying around Los Santos was awesome. I could see the whole city, the mountains, the ocean. It was a totally different experience than driving. I even practiced landing on top of buildings, which was tricky but satisfying when I got it right.
