Alright, so I wanted to mess around with this whole 23xi Twitter thing. I had heard about it, you know, Twitter, now called X, and I figured, why not give it a shot?
First off, I went to the , or I guess it’s * now.
- Created an account. That was pretty straightforward. Put in my email, made up a password, the usual stuff.
- Then they ask you for a username. That took a minute, everything I thought of was taken! Ended up adding a bunch of numbers to the end of my name.
Once I got in, I started to poke around.
- Followed some folks I know, and some others posting about things I’m interested in. That was kind of neat, seeing all these different people talking.
- Figured out how to post a “tweet” or, whatever, now it’s called an “x”. Just typed in what I was thinking and hit send. Felt weird at first, like yelling into the void, but kind of cool, too.
I also tried out the mobile app.
- Downloaded it onto my phone. That was easy enough.
- Logged in with the same info I used on the website. Boom, everything was there, my posts, the people I was following, all of it.
So far, it’s been interesting. I’ve seen some funny stuff, read some news, and even connected with a few folks. It’s a bit overwhelming, all these people posting all the time. But I’m starting to get the hang of it.
- I explored different features, like hashtags and trending topics. I started to see what’s happening around the world.
- I engaged in conversations by replying to posts and direct messages. That’s a little bit fun.
I think I’ll keep playing around with it. It’s definitely a different way to connect with people and see what’s going on. I mean it’s not my usual thing, but I can see why people like it. Maybe I’ll even get good at it, who knows?
My Takeaway
It’s a wild world out there on X, but it’s kind of fun once you get used to it. I’ll probably stick around and see what other trouble I can get into.
