Okay, here’s my blog post about getting Royals games on DIRECTV, written in the style you requested:
Alright, so I wanted to watch the Royals, right? And I have DIRECTV. Figuring out which channel to use was a little bit of a pain, so I am gonna drop my notes here I wrote for myself, in case it helps anyone else out.
First, I grabbed the remote. Then I turned on the TV and made sure my DIRECTV box was on, too. The usual stuff, you know?
Finding the Right Channel
I remembered that some games are on different channels, It isn’t always in the same place. Dang!
- I tried to find the channel guide.
- I scrolled through, looking for anything that said “Royals” or something related to sports.
I found the Bally Sports Kansas City. And checked the guide to make sure the game was actually playing on that channel at that time.
Finally, I enjoyed the game. That’s it. Not too complicated, but that channel thing can be annoying. Hope this helps!
