Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into this “Jay Hayden SEAL Team” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I wanted to get a better feel for what this guy goes through on the show, so I started digging around.

First, I watched a bunch of episodes. I mean, a LOT. I wanted to see how he moves, how he handles weapons, all that tactical stuff. It’s pretty intense, you know? Lots of running, gunning, and teamwork.
Getting the Gear
Next, I figured I should try to get a feel for the equipment. No, I didn’t go out and buy any real firearms! But I did get some airsoft replicas, just to get a sense of the weight and how to hold them properly. I also picked up a weighted vest, because those guys are always carrying a ton of gear.
The Workout
Then came the hard part: the physical training. Man, these SEALs are in crazy good shape! I started with some basic stuff:
- Push-ups: Lots and lots of push-ups. My arms were burning!
- Pull-ups: I could barely do a few at first, but I kept at it.
- Running: I hate running, but I did it anyway. Started slow, then gradually increased the distance and speed.
- Swimming: Found a local pool and started doing laps. It’s way harder than it looks.
I also added some exercises with the weighted vest, like squats and lunges. It’s rough, but I’m starting to feel stronger.
Putting It All Together
Finally, I tried to combine everything. I put on the vest, grabbed the airsoft rifle, and did some drills in my backyard. Practicing moving from cover to cover, aiming, all that stuff. I even roped my buddy into it, so we could practice some basic team tactics.

Look, I’m no SEAL, and I’m definitely not ready to go on any real missions. But this whole experience has given me a new appreciation for what those guys do. It’s tough, demanding work, and it takes a ton of dedication and discipline. It also gave a lot of good insights and I felt awesome!
