Alright, so the other day I was messing around trying to dig up some dirt on this baseball player, James Triantos. You know, the usual stuff: batting average, home runs, RBIs, the whole nine yards. I’m no expert, but I like to keep tabs on these players, see how they’re doing.

First off, I hit up some of the usual spots – you know, like looking around on the web for minor league stats and stuff. Found out this Triantos guy is with the Chicago Cubs organization. Apparently, he’s been bouncing around their minor league teams like the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and the South Bend Cubs. I saw that he’s got a career batting average of .284, which isn’t too shabby. And get this, he’s knocked 17 home runs and has 117 RBIs in 221 games. Not bad for a minor leaguer, right?
Digging Deeper
But I didn’t stop there. I wanted to know more. So, I started digging deeper. I looked around the interwebs and saw he was a big deal back in high school. He led his team, Madison High, to a state title in Virginia. That’s pretty cool. Oh, and I found out he was initially in a different draft class but then switched over to the 2021 one. A two-way star, they called him. Interesting, right?
- Scouring for More Info
- Checking Out Some Game Stats
- Wrapping It Up
Next, I went on a hunt for any extra bits of info I could find. Found some random tidbits about his height and birthdate on some website – 6’1″ and born on January 29, 2003. Makes him 21 years old.
I even managed to find some of his game stats. Now, I’m not gonna pretend I understand all the fancy Statcast data and projections, but it was cool to see some of his performances laid out like that.
So, after all that digging, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on James Triantos’ stats. It’s always fun to dive into this stuff, even if it’s just for kicks. You never know what you’re gonna find, and it’s interesting to see how these players develop over time.

Anyway, that’s my little adventure in stat-hunting. Hope you found it at least a little bit interesting. Maybe next time I’ll dig into another player or something. Who knows!
