So, I’ve been messing around with this whole NBA 2K thing, specifically trying to get a custom Jazz concept jersey into the game. I wouldn’t say I’m a pro at this stuff, but I like to tinker, you know?

First, I had to find some decent-looking concept art online. That took a bit of digging, scrolling through tons of designs. Some were alright, others… not so much. I finally found a design that I thought looked pretty slick. It was a simple, clean design, but it looked sharp.
Next up, I had to figure out how to actually get this thing into the game. After messing around for a while, I figured out how to make it happen. Here are the steps in my way:
- Download the concept art image. I just right-clicked and saved the image to my computer. Easy peasy.
- Rename the file. I had to rename the file and make sure it’s the correct name.
- Move the file to the correct folder. This is where it got a little tricky. I had to find the right folder within the NBA 2K files. This took a bit of trial and error.
- Launch the game and test it out. This was the moment of truth. I fired up the game, navigated to the jersey selection, and there it was! My custom jersey, looking fly on my virtual players.
It was pretty cool seeing my custom jersey in action. It’s not perfect, but I’m happy with how it turned out. I might try to make some more custom jerseys in the future. It’s a fun little project, and it’s satisfying to see your own creations come to life in the game.
I just wanted to share my little adventure in case anyone else is interested in trying this out. It’s not as hard as it might seem, and it’s a neat way to personalize your NBA 2K experience.
