Okay, so I saw this “Stellar Blade Holiday Event” thing pop up and figured, why not? I’ve been playing a bit of Stellar Blade, and a holiday event sounded like a nice change of pace. First thing I did was fire up the game and make sure everything was updated. Gotta have the latest version, you know? Took a few minutes, but nothing crazy.
Once the game was ready, I jumped into the main menu. Usually, there’s a banner or something that screams “NEW EVENT HERE!”, but this time it was a little more subtle. I had to poke around a bit, but I eventually found it tucked away in the events tab. It was like finding a hidden present!
Starting the Event
Clicking on the event banner brought up the details. Basically, it was a bunch of new challenges and some limited-time outfits. I love collecting stuff in games, so the outfits were definitely a draw for me. The challenges looked pretty straightforward, stuff like “defeat X number of enemies” or “complete Y mission with a certain score.” Nothing I hadn’t done before, just with a holiday twist.
- Defeat 50 Naytiba with Snow Effect.
- Complete the Abandoned area mission under 5 minutes.
- Find 5 hidden Holiday Presents.
I started with the “defeat enemies” challenge. I figured it would be the easiest to knock out while I was doing other stuff. I just went to a zone I knew had a lot of enemies and started hacking and slashing away. The game had a little counter in the corner of the screen, so I could keep track of my progress. It was pretty satisfying to watch that number go up!
Next, I tackled one of the mission-based challenges. It was a timed run, so I had to be quick and efficient. I replayed the mission a few times to get the hang of it, memorizing enemy placements and the fastest route. I actually messed up the first couple of attempts, but I finally nailed it with a few seconds to spare. Felt pretty good!
The last challenge was a scavenger hunt, it make me feel good. This was probably the most “holiday” part of the event. I had to find these little hidden items scattered around the different areas. It was a nice change of pace from the combat, and it gave me a chance to appreciate the game’s environments. Some of them were pretty well-hidden, I’ll admit! I had to check every nook and cranny.
After finishing all the challenges, I got a notification that I had unlocked the new outfits. I went to the character customization menu and tried them on. They were pretty cool! A nice reward for the effort. Overall, the event was a fun little diversion. Nothing groundbreaking, but a good way to spend a few hours and get some new goodies. I think I got it all, so yeah.
