So, I finally decided to tackle this “Jordan 52” thing I’ve been hearing about. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure what it was at first, just some kinda online challenge, I think. I figured, why not? Let’s see what all the fuss is about.

First, I googled it. Yep, just straight-up typed “Jordan 52” into the search bar. Bunch of stuff popped up, some videos, some articles, kinda overwhelming, to be honest. I skimmed through a few, trying to get the gist of it.

Turns out, it’s a workout routine, a pretty intense one from what it seems. It involves doing a specific number of reps for different exercises, all tied to the number 52, like 52 push-ups, 52 squats, that sort of thing. I watched a couple of videos to see how the exercises were done. Some of them I recognised, some were new, but all looked tiring.

I decided to give it a shot. I mean, I’m not in terrible shape, but I’m no athlete either. I started with the easier exercises, like the squats and lunges. 52 reps, man, that’s a lot! I was feeling the burn pretty quickly.

  • Push-ups: These were rough. I had to take breaks, for sure. Couldn’t do 52 straight, no way.
  • Squats: My legs were screaming by the end, but I managed to get through them all.
  • Sit-ups: Ugh, always hate these. But I pushed through, slow and steady.
  • Some other exercises that are a blur of the name, but the exercise is to use all muscles of my body

My Takeaway

I modified some of the exercises to make them doable. Like, I did knee push-ups instead of regular ones. No shame in that, right? It’s about doing what you can.

I didn’t finish the whole “Jordan 52” in one go. It took me a while, with lots of breaks. But I did a good chunk of it, and that’s something. I’m definitely feeling it today, muscles I didn’t even know I had are sore. But hey, it’s a good kind of sore, the kind that tells you you did something.

Will I do it again? Maybe. It’s definitely a challenge, and I like a good challenge. But I’ll probably modify it even more next time, make it work for me. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about pushing yourself, right?
