So this morning I’m scrolling through my feed drinking coffee when Josh Demas pops up everywhere. People goin’ nuts about whatever he’s doing now. Got curious so grabbed my laptop to dig.

Step 1: Hitting the Socials Jungle
First thing – bombarded his Twitter real hard. Scrolled like crazy through replies and quote tweets. Saw folks arguing about:
- Some new coding project screenshot? Couldn’t see details
- Vague “big announcement coming” tweets teasing everybody
- Random selfie at what looks like a startup office kitchen
Annoying af honestly. Felt like chasing ghosts through fog.
Step 2: Drowning in Fan Theories
Checked Discord channels and Reddit threads about him. Absolute chaos there:
- One group swore he launched a stealth AI startup
- Others thought he’s writing a book about developer mental health
- Weirdest take? Dude retiring to raise alpacas in Vermont
Couldn’t find anyone with actual proof just shouting theories.

Step 3: Playing Detective With Dates
Cross-checked his GitHub contribution graph against his IG Stories timeline. Noticed three unusual things:
- Radio silence on socials exactly when he pushed major library updates
- Two commits timestamped 3AM after his “big things cooking!” tweet
- Private repos suddenly getting tons of GitHub stars last Thursday
Still felt like guessing lottery numbers though.
Step 4: Connecting Weird Dots
Finally pieced together clues like broken jigsaw pieces:

- Found his dev buddy liking tweets about “revolutionizing legacy systems”
- Noticed AWS promo video last month featuring a project matching his screenshots
- His LinkedIn shows new connection at major tech publisher last week
My messy conclusion? He’s:
-Launching open-source toolkit for crusty enterprise code
-Partnering with cloud providers somehow
-Book deal semi-confirmed
Nothing revolutionary but practical work. Surprised nobody’s leaking actual details yet.
Why Bother Doing All This?
Last week my boss dropped this ancient finance system on my desk. Feels like coding through concrete. Hoping Josh’s rumored tools could save me weeks of migraine work. Seriously considering:
- Ditching this garbage legacy project ASAP
- Joining beta if Josh ever announces properly
- Emailing my boss “accidentally” with Josh’s rumored project page
Until then? Back to my brick-and-mortar code prison I guess.
