Okay, so I wanted to see what people were talking about after the debate, you know, get the general vibe. So I figured, why not run a quick poll? I decided to use the ABC platform because it seemed pretty straightforward.

Setting Up the Poll
First, I logged into the ABC website. It was pretty easy to find where to create a new poll. They have this big button that says “Create a New Poll” – can’t miss it!
Next, I typed in my question. I went with something simple like, “Who do you think won the debate?” I wanted to keep it open-ended so people could choose whoever they thought did best.
Then, I added the options. I listed all the candidates who were in the debate, just their names, nice and clear.
Sharing and Waiting
Once the poll was set up, I grabbed the link they provided. I shared it on my social media, a couple of forums I frequent, and even sent it to some friends via text. I figured the more places I shared it, the more responses I’d get.
Then came the waiting game. I checked back every few hours to see how the responses were coming in. It was pretty cool to watch the numbers change and see which candidate was getting the most votes.

Checking the Results
After giving it a good amount of time (I waited about 24 hours), I went back to the ABC site to check out the final results. The platform had this neat little chart showing the percentage of votes for each candidate. It was a simple breakdown, easy to understand.
I took a screenshot of the results and shared that too, so everyone who participated could see the outcome. I made my comments with the poll results picture post.
It was not perfect but I did get good results. And it was a very simple thing to do to know the debate’s feedback.
