Okay, so today I tried to make this thing called a “lidicky ball.” I saw it online, and I thought, “Hey, that looks cool, let’s give it a shot!”

Getting Started
First, I needed to figure out what I even needed. Turns out, it’s pretty simple.
- Some colorful paper – I grabbed a pack of origami paper I had lying around.
- Scissors – Gotta cut that paper, you know?
- My hands – Obviously!
The Folding Begins
I found a video, and at first, I was totally lost. The guy was folding so fast, like a paper ninja or something! I had to pause and rewind, like, a million times.
So, I started by cutting the paper into these little squares. I messed up a few times and had to start over. My squares were not…very square.
Then, I tried folding the paper like in the video, little folds up the squares. I have to say, it takes time and my fingers were getting sore from all the creasing!
Putting It All Together
After what felt like forever, I finally had all these folded pieces. Now came the tricky part – sticking them together.
I tried, the thing kept falling apart. It was super frustrating!
The (Almost) Finished Product
I didn’t give up. I kept trying, folding.
It’s not perfect, by any means. It’s a little lopsided, and some of the pieces keep popping out. But, hey, I made something! It’s kind of like a weird, colorful, paper…thing. It’s a lidicky ball…sort of!
