Okay, so today, I wanna talk about my experience with NCWTS qualifying. Let me tell you, it was a real doozy!

First off, I woke up early as hell, like 5 AM. I grabbed a quick coffee and a sad-looking pastry, then I headed out to the track. The atmosphere was already buzzing, even though it was still pretty early. I got my credentials and made my way to the pit area, where all the teams were busy prepping their trucks.
Now, the qualifying itself is broken down into a few parts. It’s like, they call it Q1, Q2, and maybe even a Q3 if there are enough of us. Each one is just a short session where you gotta lay down your best lap time. It’s pretty intense because you know everyone else is out there pushing their limits, too.
- In Q1, I went out there and tried to get a feel for the track. I drove a few laps, and finally one of them was pretty good.
- Then came Q2, and I knew I had to step it up. I pushed the truck harder, took some risks, and managed to shave off a few tenths from my previous time.
- They also have four qualifying heats before the race. Each one of the heat is 15 laps. That is insane!
By the end of it all, I was pretty satisfied with my performance. I didn’t get the pole, but I qualified in a decent spot. You know what I mean? It is just a start. Not bad for a day’s work, I guess. And most importantly, I learned a lot today. The whole process was a great learning experience, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. Hopefully, I can do even better next time!
