Okay, so today was all about the Nebraska Spring Game. I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks, it’s like a little sneak peek of what the football season might look like.

First things first, I got my game day gear ready. Jersey? Check. Lucky socks? Double-check. I even considered face paint, but decided against it. Maybe next time.
Then, made the hard decision, to stream or find a way to watch elsewhere. I’ve got buddies all around, so after calling them, one of the guys had a perfect setup. So, I headed over to my buddy’s place. He’s got the big screen and the surround sound, so it’s basically the next best thing to being at the stadium.
Game Time!
- We fired up the grill, because what’s a football game without some burgers and hot dogs?
- Got the drinks chilling in the cooler. Gotta stay hydrated, you know?
- Turned on the TV and cranked up the volume. Time for some football!
The game itself was… well, it was a spring game. It’s more about seeing the new guys and getting a feel for the team than it is about winning. But still, I watched every play intently, trying to figure out who’s going to be a star this year.
My buddy and I, we yelled at the TV, cheered for the good plays, and groaned at the bad ones. Just like we would at a regular game. It’s all part of the experience.
After the game, we hung out for a bit, talking about what we saw and what we think it means for the upcoming season. We debated about our best players, and argued about who would have a breakout year.

All in all, it was a great day. Good food, good friends, and some football. Can’t wait for the real season to start!
