Today I messed around with something called ‘kāne’. I’d heard about it before, and I figured, why not give it a shot? So, I started by, you know, just looking it up. I needed to know what it even was before I could do anything with it.

After I got a basic idea, the real work started. First, I had to get it onto my computer. That involved finding a download link, and honestly, the process was a bit of trial and error and get it.
Getting My Hands Dirty
Once I had it downloaded, It took me a bit to figure out which button did what, but I eventually got the hang of it.
I started simple. No fancy stuff, just the basics. I wanted to see if I could make it do something, anything really. So, I clicked around, pushed some buttons, and typed some stuff in. I felt like I was just poking it with a stick at first!
I slowly, very slowly, started to figure out how the pieces fit together.
Making it Work (Sort Of)
- First attempt: Total fail. It didn’t want anyting .
- Second attempt: Got different result. I was actually getting somewhere!
- Third attempt: Nailed it. Finally, I was starting to feel like I knew what I was doing.
It wasn’t perfect, not by a long shot. But it was something. It was a starting point. And that’s all I really needed.I managed to do the thing I set out to do.
I’m definitely going to keep playing with this. I’m still a beginner, but that’s okay. Everybody starts somewhere, right? Maybe tomorrow I’ll try something a little more complicated. We’ll see how that goes!
