Hey everyone, it’s your boy back at it again. Today, I want to dive into something I’ve been messing around with lately – tracking Damian Lillard’s game logs. Yeah, you heard that right, Dame Dolla’s stats, game by game. I’ve been following him like a hawk, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride.

So, first things first, I started by figuring out where to get the information. Found some sites that had it all laid out, but I wanted it for myself, you know? To see it all and get the data at my fingertips. I started by just jotting down the basics – points, rebounds, the usual suspects. Easy enough, right?
But then I thought, why stop there? I went deeper. I started pulling in every stat I could find – assists, steals, turnovers, you name it. I wanted the full picture of how Dame was performing each game. It was a bit of a grind at first, copying and pasting like a madman. But hey, that’s how we do it, right?
Digging Deep into the Numbers
After gathering all that data, I started to organize it. Made myself a nice little spreadsheet, nothing too fancy, just something to keep track of everything. It’s pretty cool seeing it all laid out like that, game by game. You start to see patterns, like when he’s on fire and dropping 40-plus points like it’s nothing. Or that time when he played 73 games in 2018-19. Man, that was a good season.
- First, I grabbed the basic stats.
- Then, I went for the full game logs.
- Finally, I organized everything into a spreadsheet.
Recently, I heard Dame’s been out with a calf issue. I double-checked, and yep, he’s missed three games straight. Before that, he played 22 games this season. It’s a bummer when your favorite player is sidelined, but it happens. It’s part of the game. Reminds me of that time when Antetokounmpo was also out with back spasms. It’s tough to see the Bucks without two of their stars.
But that’s the beauty of tracking game logs, you get to see the whole story, the ups and downs. You see the games where he’s unstoppable, and you see the games where he’s, well, human. It gives you a whole new appreciation for the grind these guys go through. This was a pretty fun experiment. I love seeing how a player like Lillard is playing each night.

Anyway, that’s my little project for now. It’s nothing too crazy, just a fan keeping tabs on his favorite player. I might keep adding to it, maybe look at some other players too. Who knows? But for now, I’m just enjoying the process and seeing where it takes me. Catch you guys in the next one!
