So, if they are 3 hours behind UTC and I am 1 hour ahead of UTC, the total difference is 3 + 1 = 4 hours. Buenos Aires is 4 hours behind me.
To be super sure, I quickly checked one of those world clock websites. Looked up my city, looked up Buenos Aires. Yep, the difference shown there was 4 hours. Good stuff. It also mentioned something about Argentina not using Daylight Saving Time right now, which is useful to know so the difference stays consistent year-round, mostly.
