Alright, so today was one of those days. Woke up, sun’s shining, and the first thing that pops into my head is: Brewers game. Gotta catch it. But then comes the usual dance, the “what channel is the Brewers game on today?” shuffle. You’d think in this day and age, with all this tech, it’d be simple. But nope.

My Little Quest for the Game
So, I started my usual routine. Grabbed my phone, thinking, “Okay, five minutes, tops.”
First things first, I opened up that main sports app I use. Sometimes it’s right there, big and bold. Other times? It’s like they’re hiding it. Today, it was being coy. Showed the game time, showed the score if it had started, but the channel info? Vague. Just said “Regional Sports Network” which, you know, isn’t super helpful when there are a few of those floating around.
My next step, pretty standard, was to fire up the old search engine. Typed in the magic words: “Brewers game today channel.” And boy, did I get results. Pages and pages. Some looked promising, others were just clickbait, trying to get me to sign up for some streaming service I’ll never use. It’s always a bit of a minefield.
I remember last season, or maybe it was the one before, they had games on some random channel I barely knew existed. Had to practically become a private investigator to figure that one out. It’s like they want to make it a treasure hunt. And I’m just trying to watch some baseball, you know?
So, I clicked a few links. Some were outdated, showing last week’s game. Others were those annoying sites that make you scroll through a novel before giving you a tiny piece of info. I even tried the Brewers’ official site, but sometimes even that can be a bit of a maze to navigate quickly for just the TV schedule.

What I usually find works, eventually, is this process:
- Check the main sports apps (plural, because one is never enough).
- Do a targeted web search, being specific with “today” and “channel”.
- Look for TV listing sites, those can be golden if they’re up to date.
- Sometimes, I even check social media. Fans are usually quick to share if they’ve found it.
It just feels like it shouldn’t be this much of a chore. Back in the day, you had your few channels, and you just knew. Now, with blackouts, streaming exclusives, and all these different packages, it’s a whole thing. You almost need a spreadsheet.
Anyway, after about ten, maybe fifteen minutes of poking around, filtering through the noise, I finally found it. Tucked away on a schedule listing for one of the Bally Sports channels. Bingo. So, I jotted it down, or rather, mentally noted it, because who actually jots things down anymore?
So yeah, that was my little adventure this morning. All just to settle in and hopefully see the Crew get a win. It’s a bit of a ritual, this search, but hey, once the game is on, it’s usually worth it. Usually.
