Alright, so, the NFL playoffs, right? I’ve been keeping up with them, and this weekend’s schedule is packed. Let me walk you through what I did to get all set for it.
First off, I grabbed my phone and started checking out the schedule. I saw that the playoffs kick off this Saturday, January 11th. I noticed that the Houston Texans are hosting the Los Angeles Chargers. That’s going to be on CBS. I made a mental note to catch that game.
Then I looked into how I could watch these games. I found out that if I want to catch almost every game, any live TV streaming service with CBS, ESPN, FOX, and NBC would do the trick. I already use Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV, so I was covered there. However, for a couple of the exclusive wild card games, I also needed to use Amazon Prime Video and Peacock. Good thing I’ve got those too!
I also did a little digging into how the teams are seeded. The division champs get the top spots, and the Wild Card teams are seeded based on their records. It’s pretty cool that the best team in each conference gets a first-round bye. I always like to know how the bracket is looking.
I also found out the networks showing the games, they’re like ESPN, ABC. I kept those in mind.
This Sunday also looked big. I saw something about NBC and Peacock, so I made sure not to miss whatever they were showing.
I skimmed through a few articles to get the complete picture. I saw that 14 teams are battling it out. It’s going to be a wild ride to the championship!
The Conference Championships are happening at the end of January. I marked that on my calendar, so I don’t miss those crucial games.
I felt pretty good after getting all that info. I got my snacks ready, made sure my subscriptions were up to date, and now I’m all set to enjoy the NFL playoff madness this weekend!
