Okay, so “nutmeg court” – sounds fancy, right? I had no idea what to expect. I thought maybe it was some kind of, I don’t know, spice-themed restaurant? Turns out, it’s an actual place, and I ended up spending a whole afternoon trying to figure it out and make something about it.

First, I googled it. Just straight up typed “nutmeg court” into the search bar. Most of what came up, I could not use those information, they are totally useless.
So, I changed tactics. Since I couldn’t find any solid info on it, i tried to look around to see if i can use those information, but they are not good enough. I needed something solid, something I could actually use.
My “Creative” Process (aka Making Stuff Up)
I decided that I want to make it as my practice, and since I can’t use any of the search result, I have to do something, anything!
- Brainstorming: I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen.
- Writing it down: Then, I just started writing whatever came to mind, no matter how silly.
- Review and Discard: Most of it was complete rubbish, of course. I crossed out a lot, circled a few things that seemed promising, and basically just made a huge mess.
Finally, I think i got the practice result i want. I spent, like, way too long on this, but hey, that’s the creative process, right? Sometimes you gotta dig through a lot of dirt to find the good stuff.
