That year, 2016, them Jets, they played a whole bunch of games. I reckon they had, what, 16 games in the regular season? Yeah, that’s right. Sixteen games, up and down the field they went.
I think they won five games, right? Or was it four? That’s a hard number to remember. I gotta say, five wins, eleven losses. Not the best, but hey, what can ya do? They tried their best, them boys. That’s what counts. They played those games, and that’s all there is to it.

- They played the Cleveland Browns.
- They played a whole bunch more teams that I can’t recall now.
Tough Games, Them Jets Had ‘Em
They played them Bills, I remember that one. Tough team, them Bills. Lost that one, I think. Then there was that game against them Colts. Boy, oh boy, that was a rough one. They lost that one pretty bad, I reckon. But they kept on playin’, them Jets. They never gave up.
They played the Browns, and I think they won that one. Yeah, I’m pretty sure they beat the Browns. That was a good game, that one. Felt good to see ’em win. They needed that win, them poor boys.
They played all over the place, them Jets. Sometimes they played at home, and sometimes they played far away. I remember seein’ it all on that there TV. It was a sight, I tell ya.

That 2016 NY Jets schedule, it was somethin’ to see. They played hard, them boys. They had some good players, too. I can’t remember all their names, but there was that one fella, a wide receiver, I think. He was good. Made some good catches, he did. That Marshall fella, maybe? I think he was on the New Orleans Saints later on. Big fella, could really run.
It was a long season, that 2016 season. Lots of ups and downs. But that’s football, ain’t it? You win some, you lose some. But you gotta keep on playin’.
