Okay, so today I decided to dig into something I’m really passionate about – baseball, and specifically, Jake Peavy during his time with the San Diego Padres. I’ve always been a huge fan, and I wanted to put together some kind of a, I don’t know, a digital scrapbook or something about that era.

Getting Started
First, I gathered all my own stuff. I knew I had some old baseball cards tucked away, and I definitely remembered keeping newspaper clippings from his Cy Young season. I dug through boxes in the attic and, sure enough, found a treasure trove of Peavy memorabilia.
- Old Topps and Upper Deck cards – some in pretty good condition, surprisingly!
- Yellowed newspaper articles – mostly game recaps, but a few good interviews, too.
- A couple of those oversized souvenir programs they sell at the stadium.
Organizing My Thoughts
Then I needed some online image. I jumped onto my computer. I spent a good hour just browsing, saving pictures of Peavy pitching, celebrating wins, and even some of him just hanging out with teammates. It was awesome to relive those moments.
I scanned my physical items into computer.
Putting It All Together
After that, it was time to figure out how I wanted to present all this. I thought about doing, a simple slideshow, but then, I have some basic knowledge about coding. So I decided build something to show my collections!

I spent the rest of the afternoon messing around, laying things out, writing up little captions for the photos and articles, It wasn’t anything fancy, but it was mine, you know? It was a way to organize my memories and appreciate what a great player Peavy was for the Padres.
I am going to continue working on this – maybe add some video clips, and refine the layout,I am sure that’s my own collection about Jake!
