Royal Enfield Classic 350 Max Speed: Is It Fast Enough for You?

Today, I took my Royal Enfield Classic 350 out for a spin to see what she could really do. I’ve heard a lot about its max speed, and I wanted to find out for myself.

First things first, I geared up and made sure the bike was ready to go. Checked the tires, the fuel, all the usual stuff. Safety first, you know?

Getting Started

I started in the city, just getting a feel for the bike’s handling. The wider handlebars on the Classic 350 make it super easy to steer around corners. I cruised at a steady pace, not pushing it too hard, just getting comfortable.

Finding the Right Spot

Then, I headed out of town to find a nice, long stretch of open road. I wanted a place where I could really open her up without worrying about traffic or tight turns. I found this perfect stretch of highway that was pretty much deserted.

Pushing the Limits

  • Warm-Up: I started by riding at around 50-60 km/h (that’s about 31-37 mph for my American friends). I’ve heard that’s the sweet spot for the best mileage on this bike.
  • Building Speed: Gradually, I increased the speed, feeling the engine’s response. The Classic 350 has a 349cc single-cylinder engine, and it’s got a decent amount of power – around 20.4PS, to be exact.
  • Hitting the Max: I pushed it further, and the bike handled it like a champ. The suspension is good, making the ride smooth even as I picked up speed. I managed to hit around 114 km/h (71 mph), and honestly, it felt pretty great.

Cooling Down

After reaching the max, I eased off the throttle and let the bike slow down naturally. I didn’t want to slam on the brakes or anything. Just a nice, smooth deceleration.

Final Thoughts

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is definitely a solid bike. It’s not built for racing, but it can definitely hold its own on the open road. Hitting that 114 km/h mark was a thrill, and the bike felt stable the whole time. It’s perfect for long rides, especially if you value comfort and that classic style. Plus, it’s not too bad on fuel efficiency if you keep it at moderate speeds.

Overall, it was a great day out. The Classic 350 lived up to its reputation, and I had a blast testing its limits. If you’re looking for a reliable and stylish bike for leisurely rides, this one’s a winner.
