Yesterday, I felt like going for a drive, just cruising around, you know? So, I grabbed my keys, hopped in my car, and started driving. No real destination in mind, just enjoying the ride. As I was driving, I stumbled upon this place called “San Marino Motel”. It looked kinda interesting from the outside, so I thought, why not check it out?

I pulled into the parking lot and parked my car. I got out and started walking towards the entrance. The motel had this vintage vibe to it, like something out of an old movie. I walked through the lobby, which was pretty small but cozy. There was a lady at the front desk, and I asked her if I could take a look around.
She was cool with it, so I started exploring. I checked out the rooms first. They were simple but clean. Each room had a bed, a TV, and a small bathroom. Nothing fancy, but it looked like a decent place to crash for the night. Then, I headed outside to see the pool area. It was a bit rundown, but I could see the potential. The pool was empty, and there were some old lounge chairs scattered around. I imagined it would be a nice spot to relax during the summer.
After that, I wandered around the grounds a bit more. There was a small garden with some overgrown plants and a couple of benches. It felt kinda peaceful, despite being close to the road. I sat on one of the benches for a few minutes, just taking it all in. I thought about how this place probably had a lot of stories to tell from over the years.
- Walked into the lobby.
- Checked out the rooms.
- Explored the pool area.
- Wandered around the grounds.
- Sat on a bench and reflected.
After spending some time at the motel, I decided to head back to my car. I thanked the lady at the front desk and walked out. As I was driving away, I couldn’t help but think about the history of that place. It made me realize how many hidden gems are out there, just waiting to be discovered.
Final Thoughts
Overall, it was a fun little adventure. I didn’t expect to end up at a motel, but it turned out to be a cool experience. It’s always interesting to see these old places and imagine what they were like back in their heyday. Plus, it gave me a chance to take a break from my usual routine and just enjoy the moment. You never know what you’ll find when you’re open to exploring new places.
