I remember it was a Saturday, and I was thinking about watching the game for my team, the Seattle Steelheads. I am really into them. I was figuring out what I should do to actually watch them play.
So first I thought, okay, maybe I can go to the stadium. I searched online and found that I should arrive there a few hours early. That sounds right. Walk around outside, enjoy the atmosphere, and get in the stadium at least 30 minutes before kickoff. You know, to get myself settled and grab some snacks and drinks. But, then I realized the game is not today, so no stadium this time.
Next, I looked into watching it on TV. I don’t have cable, which was apparently the way to go for a long time. But I do remember seeing something about national broadcasts on networks like NBC, CBS, and FOX. I turned on the TV and flipped through the channels. Nothing. I guess they weren’t broadcasting this particular game.
- Then I got a bright idea, check out those streaming services.
- I already have Amazon Prime Video.
- There are some others I found out about like DIRECTV STREAM, fuboTV, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and Xfinity Stream.
Turns out, to watch all the Seattle Steelheads games, you need ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and yeah, Amazon Prime Video. Also found out that I can use ESPN+ along with ABC. Nice!
I signed up for a free trial of Hulu + Live TV. It seemed like a good deal for around 83 bucks, though that’s a bit pricey long-term for me. There is also this thing called NFL+ where you can watch games on your phone or tablet. It is perfect for when you are on the go. They also have this NFL Channel with all sorts of content, but I am just here for the Steelheads.
Finally, after all that, I found out how to watch my Seattle Steelheads. I just needed to make sure I had the right subscriptions. Setting everything up took me the better part of the afternoon. But hey, at least I was all set for the next game. It is kind of a hassle, but for my team, it is worth it.

From now on, I know how to watch my team.
I just have to remember which service has the game, and I am good to go. Go Steelheads!
