## Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Wallpaper: My DIY Journey
Alright folks, so I’m a huge SGA fan, like seriously obsessed. I wanted a fresh wallpaper for my phone, and I thought, “Why not make my own Shai Gilgeous-Alexander wallpaper?” Figured I’d document the process, maybe inspire some of you to get creative.
First thing I did was hit up Google Images. Just typed in “Shai Gilgeous-Alexander” and started scrolling. I was looking for high-quality photos, preferably action shots where he looked, you know, cool. Settled on a few good ones – him driving to the basket, that killer crossover, the works. Downloaded like five or six just to be safe.
Next up, I needed to actually edit the images. I ain’t no pro, so I just used a free app on my phone called PicsArt. Pretty basic, but it gets the job done. Started by cropping the images to fit my phone’s screen. This is important, don’t just slap any old picture on there, it’ll look stretched and terrible.
Then I started messing around with the filters. Bumped up the contrast on some, added a slight blur effect to others. Just experimenting, seeing what looked good. I also played around with the brightness and saturation. You gotta find that sweet spot, you know? Not too dull, not too vibrant.
One image I really liked, but the background was kinda boring. So I used the “cutout” tool in PicsArt to isolate Shai. Then I found a cool, abstract background online – some blue and orange swirls, Thunder colors, naturally. Layered Shai on top of that, and boom, instant upgrade.
Another thing I did was add some text. Just his initials “SGA” in a simple font, nothing too fancy. Placed it strategically so it wouldn’t cover his face or anything. I also experimented with adding his jersey number “2” to another wallpaper.
After messing around with different variations for what felt like forever, I finally narrowed it down to my top three. Sent them to my phone, set each one as my wallpaper for a day to see how I liked them. It’s important to road test them!
In the end, the one with the abstract background won. It just looked the cleanest and most visually appealing. Been rocking it for a week now, and I’m still loving it.
Honestly, the whole process was pretty fun and easy. You don’t need to be a graphic design wizard to make a decent wallpaper. Just a little creativity and some free apps can go a long way. Give it a shot, you might surprise yourself!
