Hey everyone, so I was digging into Shaun Livingston’s career today. Man, this guy’s journey is something else! I started by checking out who he’s played for, and it’s quite a list.

First off, I opened up my browser and typed in “Shaun Livingston teams.” The search results popped up, and I started clicking through to get the full picture. It turns out he’s been around the block in the NBA, playing for a whopping nine teams during his 14-year career. Can you believe that? Nine teams!
Here’s what I found:
- I learned that he kicked off his NBA journey with the Los Angeles Clippers. He was drafted straight out of high school in 2004, which is pretty impressive. He stayed with the Clippers from the 2004-05 season through to 2006-07.
- Next, I saw that he had a brief stint with the Miami Heat in the 2008-09 season.
- Then, he moved to the Oklahoma City Thunder, playing for them from 2008-09 to 2009-10.
- After that, he joined the Washington Wizards for a bit in 2009-10, then hopped over to the Charlotte Bobcats in 2010-11.
- The guy kept moving! He played for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2011-12, and then he was back with the Wizards in 2012-13.
- He also had a short time with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2012-13.
- In 2013-14, he suited up for the Brooklyn Nets.
- And finally, he landed with the Golden State Warriors, where he played from 2014-15 until he retired in 2018-19. This is where he really made a name for himself, winning three NBA championships.
I also dug into some of his stats. It’s cool to see that he averaged 6.3 points per game throughout his career. And get this – his highest-scoring game was against the Celtics on April 9, 2010, when he dropped his most points ever.
Going through all this, I really got a sense of how much of a journeyman Livingston was. He bounced around a lot, but he always managed to find a spot and contribute. It’s a testament to his resilience and adaptability. I ended up spending a good chunk of my day reading about his career, and I’ve got to say, it was time well spent.
I just wanted to share this with you all because I found it so fascinating. It’s not every day you come across a player with such an extensive and varied career. Hope you guys found this as interesting as I did!
