So, I’ve been messing around with this game, Baldur’s Gate 3, right? And there’s this thing called “Sussur Bark” that you need if you want to make a really awesome weapon. I figured, “Hey, I gotta get me some of that.” Little did I know it was gonna be a bit of a trek.
First off, this stuff is only found in one place in the whole game – the Underdark. And not just anywhere in the Underdark, but in this specific spot called the Dread Hollow. Sounds spooky, huh? It’s actually pretty close to the Decrepit Village, so that’s a plus. I started my hunt there, keeping my eyes peeled.
Now, the game tells you to look for this giant white tree – the Sussur Tree. You’d think something like that would be easy to spot, but let me tell you, the Underdark is a big place. I wandered around for a while, getting into a few scuffles with some not-so-friendly creatures along the way. It’s all part of the adventure, I guess.
Finding the Sussur Tree
- Headed to the Underdark: This was my first step. There are a few ways to get there, but I won’t bore you with the details. Just know that it’s a whole journey in itself.
- Searched for the Dread Hollow: This place is near the Decrepit Village, which is kind of a landmark in the Underdark. I just followed the path, more or less.
- Spotted the Sussur Tree: It’s this big, white tree. You can’t really miss it once you’re in the right area. I mean, it really stands out against all the dark and gloom of the Underdark.
After what felt like forever, I finally found it – this massive, glowing white tree in the middle of all the darkness. It was actually kind of beautiful, in a weird way. There it was, the Sussur Tree in all its glory. I walked right up to it, ready to grab some bark. Once I got there, I just kind of scraped off a piece of bark, that was easy. Then I quickly made my way out of the Underdark.
So yeah, that’s how I got my hands on some Sussur Bark in Baldur’s Gate 3. It was a bit of a hassle, but hey, now I can make that masterwork weapon. Totally worth it!
