Heard about this susu bot leak thing blowing up on Twitter yesterday. Didn’t think much at first till my buddy DM’d me saying his cousin got weird password reset emails. That’s when I went “oh crap” and started digging.

My first panic moves
Immediately opened LastPass and changed every damn password starting with email accounts. Like literally went password123 ➜ p@ssW0rd!321 ➜ something else totally random. Took forever because honestly I reuse passwords like an idiot. Pro tip: Don’t be me.
The painful account check
Spent two hours scrolling through Gmail searching “new sign-in” alerts. Found three suspicious logins from countries I’ve never visited. Freaked out and:
Step 1: Logged out all devices on Google
Step 2: Turned on two-factor everywhere – even for stupid shopping sites
Step 3: Checked bank apps for unknown charges (thank god nothing yet)
The social media nightmare
Checked connected apps on Facebook and nearly choked. These random quiz apps I tried years ago still had permission to see my friends list! Went nuclear:
- Removed 17 shady apps
- Made all posts friends-only
- Turned off location tagging completely
Did the same purge on Instagram and TikTok. Why do we even give these permissions?
Final cleanup routine
Ran malware scans on both phone and laptop. Nothing found but still felt dirty. Ended up:
Clearing browser cookies/cache

Deleting unused accounts (RIP my 2013 Pinterest)
Putting credit freeze on Experian
Whole afternoon gone just because some bot leaked data. Moral of the story? Assume your info’s already out there and act like it.
Feeling slightly safer now but still checking bank statements like a hawk. This internet thing sucks sometimes man.
