Okay, so I saw this “DJ Khaled’s Pool” thing trending, and, well, I got curious. I mean, the guy’s known for his over-the-top lifestyle, so I figured his pool must be something else. I decided to create a little pool of my own in my drawing.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed a piece of my paper. I needed references, for sure, because I’m no architect. I want to see the shape and the surroundings.
The Shape and The Sketch
After looking at some pictures, Khaled’s pool isn’t some crazy, wild * looked big, that’s for sure.
So, I started with the basic outline. I drew a large, sort of freeform rectangle.
- Sketching the outline: Just getting the general shape down.
- Adding depth: Making it look like it actually holds water.
The Water and the Details
Next up, the water. This is where it gets fun. To fill it with water, I filled it with light blue color, add some wave, and some light effects, It’s like magic!
Then, to make the drawing more realistic, I alsodrew:
- some trees.
- some chairs.
- and other stuff, you know.
Finishing Touches
I spent a good hour or two just tweaking things. Finally, I added my signature, and bam! I had my own version of “DJ Khaled’s Pool.”
It was a fun little project. I will draw something more intersting next time.
