Okay, here is my sharing about the types of tennis players today.

So, I’ve been hitting the tennis courts a lot lately, right? And I started noticing something pretty interesting. Not everyone plays tennis the same way. It’s like, there are these different categories of players, each with their own style. I got curious, so I dug into it a bit more.
First, I watched a bunch of matches, both live and online. I observed how different players moved, how they hit the ball, and how they reacted under pressure. Some players were super aggressive, always going for the big shots. Others were more chill, just trying to keep the ball in play. I started jotting down notes, trying to make sense of it all.
Then, I read up on some articles and watched videos about tennis strategy. I realized that there are actually some common playing styles that people talk about. For instance, there’s this “Big Server” type, a player who smashes the ball with their first serve and usually wins in just one or two shots.
Here’s what I found out:
- The Big Server: Boom! These guys have a killer serve. They’re all about power and trying to end the point quickly.
- The Baseline: These players like to hang back by the baseline. They’re patient and good at hitting groundstrokes.
- The Net Rusher: As soon as they get a chance, these players run up to the net to hit a volley. They are very decisive.
- The All-Rounder: This type of player is pretty good at everything. They can serve, they can rally, and they can volley.
After recognizing these types, I experimented with different styles myself. I tried serving harder, staying back more, and rushing the net whenever I could. It was tough, but it was also a lot of fun. I found that I like to mix it up, so maybe I’m a bit of an all-rounder myself.
Finally, I talked to some other tennis players about this. I asked them about their playing style and how they developed it. It was cool to hear everyone’s different perspectives. Some people said they naturally gravitated towards a certain style, while others said they consciously worked on it.

It is fun to play with various types of tennis players and to learn from each of them. I’m gonna keep playing and keep learning. Who knows, maybe I’ll even come up with my own unique playing style someday. That would be awesome!
