Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with “aristocat typing”:

So, I’ve been trying to up my typing game lately. I’m a blogger, right? Gotta be able to crank out those words. I stumbled across this thing called “aristocat typing”, and figured, “Why not?” Sounds fancy, might as well give it a shot.
Getting Started
First things first, I had to find the actual typing program. Searched around, finally landed on the right one. It’s this cute little thing with, you guessed it, a cartoon aristocat as the mascot. Very charming. I downloaded and installed it, no problems there. Pretty straightforward.
The Practice Begins
Once it was up and running, I jumped right into the lessons. It starts you off easy, with the home row keys – you know, ‘asdf’ and ‘jkl;’. I thought I was pretty good at typing before, but this thing really makes you focus on accuracy. No more sloppy typing for me!
I spent a good hour just on the basic lessons. It can be kind of boring but my goal is improve my typing skill. Repetition, repetition, repetition. That’s the name of the game. The aristocat gives you little encouraging messages, which is kind of cheesy, but hey, I’ll take it.
Moving Up the Levels
After I felt pretty comfortable with the home row, I moved on to the next set of lessons. These introduced some new letters, like ‘g’ and ‘h’, and some simple words. The program gradually increases the difficulty, which is nice. It doesn’t throw you into the deep end right away.

Tracking My Progress
One of the things I like about it is that it tracks your words per minute (WPM) and accuracy. It’s motivating to see those numbers go up, even if it’s just a little bit at a time. I started out around 40 WPM, which felt pretty slow. But after a few days of practice, I managed to bump it up to 50. Still a long way to go, but it’s progress!
My Overall Impression
Honestly, it’s been pretty helpful. It’s a simple program, but it does what it’s supposed to do. I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my typing accuracy, and my speed is slowly but surely increasing. It’s not going to turn you into a typing master overnight, but with consistent practice, it can make a difference.
If you’re looking for a fun, free way to improve your typing skills, I’d say give “aristocat typing” a try. It’s not gonna cost you anything, and you might be surprised at how much it helps. Plus, who doesn’t love a cartoon aristocat?
