Hey guys, today I want to talk about the Usyk vs. Fury fight. I’ve been waiting for this one for a while now and finally got to watch it.
First, I started to figure out when this thing was gonna go down. Looked around a bit, and it seemed like the fight was set for Saturday, May 18th. The main event was supposed to start around 11 PM UK time, which meant 1 AM on Sunday for me since I follow the UK time. I made a note of that, so I wouldn’t miss it.
Then, I went on to check where I could catch the action. It said it was gonna be on DAZN Pay-Per-View. Alright, cool. I set a reminder for myself to tune in to DAZN at around 3:30 PM GMT, that is 10:30 AM ET, or 6:30 PM KSA, so I can watch the live broadcast starting.
Here’s what I did to get ready:
- Checked the date: Made sure I had the right date, Saturday, May 18th.
- Noted the time: The main event was at 11 PM UK time, so I marked that down.
- Found the channel: It was on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
As the day got closer, I kept an eye out for any updates. There was a lot of hype around this fight, you know? Everyone was talking about who’s gonna win. I gotta say, I was pretty pumped.
Finally, the day arrived. I made sure I was all set up in front of the TV, snacks and drinks ready. The broadcast started, and I watched all the pre-fight stuff. The tension was building up, and then it was time for the main event.
The fight kicked off, and man, it was a good one. Both of them are great fighters. They went at it for 12 rounds, and it was intense. At one point, I thought Usyk almost had Fury in the ninth round. It was crazy!
In the end, it went to the judges, and they announced a split decision. Usyk won! It was a bit of a surprise, but hey, that’s boxing for you. After all these years without a loss, Fury finally got defeated.
My Thoughts
Honestly, it was a fantastic fight. Both fighters showed a lot of heart. It was really a close call, and I can see why the decision was split. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It’s one of those fights you don’t wanna miss. I am so exciting to see Usyk had won the fight! He really did a good job.
