Vitpilen: What You Need to Know About This Bike(Husqvarnas Stylish and Minimalist Motorcycle Explained)

Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this new bike, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801. Yeah, I know, sounds fancy, right? But trust me, it’s a blast to work with. I got my hands on it a few weeks back and have been putting it through its paces ever since.

First off, I took it apart, like, not all the way, but enough to see what’s what. It’s got this 799cc engine, which is pretty sweet. It’s liquid-cooled, which is great because who wants an overheating mess, right? It’s also a twin-cylinder, and it feels smooth. I played around with the throttle, and man, this thing can move. I felt the power as it gets up to 105 HP, which is not too shabby at all.

I tinkered a bit with the settings, checking out the different modes. There’s a mode for regular street riding, and another one for sportier stuff. I switched between them a few times, and you can totally feel the difference. The sporty mode is way more responsive, which is cool when you want to go fast.

The frame is made of chromium-molybdenum steel. Sounds tough, and it feels solid too. I even checked the engine, which is part of the frame. Smart move, I guess, keeps things tight. The suspension is adjustable, which is awesome. I messed with it to get the ride just right, not too stiff, not too soft. The seat height is about 32.3 inches, which works for me.

  • Started by familiarizing myself with the bike’s specs.
  • Took it apart partially to inspect the engine and frame.
  • Tested the different riding modes and felt the power.
  • Adjusted the suspension for a comfortable ride.
  • Rode it around town and on some twisty roads to test handling.

I took it out for a spin around the city, and it handled really well. It’s not too heavy, about 397 lbs, so it’s easy to maneuver. I also took it out on some twisty roads, and it was a blast. Leaning into the corners felt great, and it was super stable. I hit some higher speeds too, and the six-speed gearbox was smooth as butter.

And it looks good, really good. It’s all sleek and modern, with this cool Bi-LED headlight. It’s definitely a head-turner. I’ve had a few people ask me about it already. They call it “the white arrow” in Swedish, which I think is pretty cool.

I’m still learning new things about this bike every day. It is really fun to ride and very comfortable.
