Alright, so let me tell you about this Pokemon Go thing that happened the other day. It was just one of those moments, you know? Kekeke.
Just a Normal Day, or So I Thought
So, I was out, just doing my usual stuff. Had to grab a few things from the store, nothing exciting. I always have Pokemon Go running in the background, just in case something interesting pops up. Most of the time, it’s just the usual Pidgeys and Rattatas, but hey, you never know.
I was walking down an aisle, I think it was the cereal aisle, minding my own business. My phone buzzes. Standard stuff. I pull it out, not expecting much. Probably another Zubat trying to make my life difficult. That’s when things got a bit… well, kekeke.
The Unexpected Encounter
There it was. Not a Zubat. Not a Pidgey. Right there, smack in the middle of the screen, superimposed over a giant stack of toilet paper, was a Snorlax. A Snorlax! In the toilet paper section of my local supermarket. I just stared. For a good few seconds, I just stared at my phone, then at the toilet paper, then back at my phone.
I had to stifle a laugh. People were already giving me funny looks because I’d just stopped dead in the middle of the aisle. Imagine trying to explain, “Sorry, just a giant sleepy Pokemon blocking the Charmin.” Kekeke.
- First, I made sure no one was too close. Didn’t want to look like a complete weirdo, even though, let’s be honest, playing Pokemon Go in public sometimes makes you feel like one.
- Then, I started the encounter. Threw a few berries, because, Snorlax, right? Notoriously grumpy if you wake him.
- Took a couple of Ultra Balls, but I finally got him. Victory!
The Aftermath
So, I caught the Snorlax. Standing there, grinning like an idiot. The mission was a success. I quickly pocketed my phone and tried to look casual, grabbing a random box of cereal like that was my intention all along.
It’s just funny, isn’t it? The places these virtual critters decide to show up. It’s not like I did anything special. I didn’t go on some epic hike to a remote mountain. I just went to buy some milk and bread. And bam, Snorlax on the toilet paper. Kekeke.
