Want to Master Ceedee Lamb Drawing Tracing, Check Out This Step-by-Step Tutorial Now

Alright, folks, let’s talk about that time I tried to draw CeeDee Lamb. Now, I’m no artist, but I figured, how hard could it be? Famous last words, right?

So, I found this tutorial online that promised to make drawing him a breeze. It all started with a simple enough step – tracing. I grabbed a picture of CeeDee, slapped a piece of paper on my tablet screen, and started tracing away. The idea was to get the basic outline down, the proportions, you know? That part, I gotta say, was pretty satisfying. Seeing the outline of my favorite wide receiver take shape was kinda cool.

Next up, the tutorial said to start refining the drawing. This is where things got, well, interesting. They talked about adding details, shading, making it look realistic. I started with the eyes, trying to capture that intense gaze he has on the field. Let me tell you, drawing eyes is HARD. They ended up looking a little wonky, but hey, I was committed.

Adding the Details

  • The Helmet: Drawing the Cowboys helmet was another adventure. All those curves and lines, getting the star just right – it was a challenge, to say the least. I erased and redrew that star more times than I care to admit.
  • The Jersey: Then there was the jersey. Number 88, iconic. Getting those numbers to look crisp and clean on the fabric folds? Yeah, that took some serious concentration. And don’t even get me started on the nameplate. “LAMB” in all caps, looking all official. I messed up the spacing at first, but eventually, I got it to a point where I didn’t completely hate it.
  • The Body: His pads were not easy to get either! I spent hours on those, and they are not quite right.

I kept at it, following the tutorial as best as I could, adding shading here, a highlight there. I learned that shading is a whole other beast. It’s all about creating the illusion of light and shadow, making the drawing look 3D. I tried my best, smudging lines, blending colors. Did it look like a masterpiece? Absolutely not. But I could see CeeDee Lamb in there, somewhere.

After hours of work, I finally called it quits. The end result was… well, it was something. It wasn’t perfect, not even close. But you could kinda tell it was supposed to be CeeDee Lamb, and I am kind of proud of that. It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot along the way. Maybe drawing isn’t my forte, but hey, at least I gave it a shot. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll try it again. But next time, I might just stick to tracing. It is way easier for someone like me that can not draw at all!
