Okay, so today I wanted to dig into the Suns vs. Timberwolves regular season games. I’m a huge basketball fan, and these two teams have had some pretty interesting matchups, so I figured, why not track it and see what’s what?

First, I grabbed my notebook and pen – gotta keep it old school sometimes! Then, I opened up my laptop and started searching for the game schedules and results. It took a little bit of digging to find all the info I needed, going through different sports websites, and past game summaries.
Gathering the Data
- I made a list of all the regular-season games between the Suns and the Timberwolves for the current, that season.
- Next, I jotted down the date of each game, which teams played.
- The most important, I recorded the final score of each game, noting down which team won.
This part took the longest, to be honest. Flipping between websites, double-checking scores, making sure I didn’t miss anything. My notebook started to look like a chaotic mess of numbers and team names, but hey, that’s part of the process, right?
Putting It All Together
After I had all the scores, I started to organize it better. I created a simple table to see things more clearly. I use simple table format:
- Date Suns Score Timberwolves Score Winner
I love lists.

I filled in the table with all the game data. Seeing it all laid out like that, it was much easier to get a sense of how the season series was going. I added up the total wins for each team to see who had the edge overall.
Finally, I just looked at the data. Were there any close games? Any blowouts? It’s kind of cool to see how these things play out over an entire season. Just doing simple tracking, that’s it!
