Alright folks, was SO lost trying to find those stupid Ancient Civilization Cores yesterday. Spent hours running around like a headless chicken, totally clueless. Figured I’d share how I finally stumbled onto them without fancy gear or high-level nonsense. Trust me, it’s simpler than you think once you know what to look for.
The Frustrating Start
Jumped into my game world bright and early, coffee in hand. Grabbed my trusty Pal spheres – nothing special, just some basic level ones – and sprinted toward the usual desert ruins area. Everyone online kept saying “deep underground” or “rare spawn,” but digging random holes got me zilch. Seriously, just rocks and dirt. Almost rage-quit right there.
Noticing Something Weird
Decided to backtrack toward the ocean instead of the desert. Why? Honestly, got lost chasing a random Pal. Happened to glide down near some jagged coastal rocks. Saw a weird, glowing blue fragment sticking out near a half-buried stone pillar. Got up close and squinted. Looked like part of a broken machine? Or glowing trash? Kicked it – “Interact?” popped up. Bam! “ANCIENT CIVILIZATION PART” flashed on screen. Wait, WHAT? This cheap-looking doodad?
The Pattern Clicked
Okay, maybe not random holes. Started mapping points:
- Near any wrecked stone structures, even tiny broken walls.
- Always partially sunk in dirt or moss.
- Near water? Yep, coasts, rivers, and swampy ponds.
- Bright blue glow? No, just a dull, kinda sad shimmer. Easy to miss in daylight.
So I hunted near ANYTHING ancient looking. Found another half-swallowed pillar near a lava pool? Took heat damage but spotted another fragment! Jungle ruins covered in vines? Found one right under a mossy archway. They aren’t underground – they’re just camouflaged junk lying around old spots!
My No-Sweat Collection Method
Real talk: Forget maps. Stop digging. Just do this:
- Fly low over coastlines, rivers, swamps. Any water near stone ruins works.
- Circle weird rock clusters in deserts or mountains if they look man-made (crumbling pillars, flat platforms).
- Spot even a tiny blue glint? Land and comb every inch near it.
- Literally kick rocks and vines near it. “Interact” prompt hides like a jerk.
Found three Cores in under an hour doing this near the starting beach ruins. Used my basic ground mount Pal (level 12, lol) to sniff around faster. No combat needed.
Final Core Victory
Last one was hiding near a waterfall wreck – saw that faint blue flicker behind a falling sheet of water. Ran through it (got soaked), mashed “Interact” on a chunk that looked like all the others. BOOM. Core number four sat warm in my inventory. Relief mixed with “are you kidding me” rage. They aren’t rare – they’re just badly placed scenery!
So yeah. Forget the grind. Open your eyes near old rocks by water. Done. Happy hunting, you won’t waste five hours like I did. PROVED YOU DON’T NEED SPECIAL GEAR OR A LEVEL 50 PAL. Just patience and kicking rocks.
