My Quick Kwik Trip Run Before the Brewers Game
So, the other day, had tickets for the Brewers game. You know how it is, getting ready, making sure you’ve got everything. Realized I was low on road snacks and drinks for the tailgate. Didn’t want to pay stadium prices for everything, right?
Thought about where to go. Needed gas anyway. Kwik Trip popped into my head. They’re everywhere, and usually pretty quick, like the name says. Decided yeah, that’s the move. Grabbed my keys and headed out.
Getting There and Gassing Up
Jumped in the truck. Wasn’t too far, maybe a ten-minute drive. Pulled up to the pump first. Needed to fill up the tank before heading downtown anyway. Did the usual thing, swiped the card, filled ‘er up. Watched the numbers click up. Always feels good starting a trip with a full tank.
Inside for Supplies
Gas done, parked the truck and went inside. Kwik Trips are usually pretty clean, this one was no different. Smelled like coffee and donuts, standard stuff. Had my mission though: snacks and drinks.
Made a beeline for the coolers. Needed water, maybe some soda. Grabbed a case of water bottles – always essential. Then picked up a couple of six-packs of different sodas for variety.
Next up, snacks. Walked over to the aisles. Here’s what I grabbed:
- A big bag of pretzels. Classic.
- Some beef jerky. Good protein.
- Couple bags of chips. Couldn’t decide, so got one plain, one BBQ.
- Maybe grabbed a candy bar too, for me. Don’t judge.
Looked around, saw they had some Brewers stuff near the counter. Almost grabbed a hat, but told myself I already had enough. Just stuck to the plan.
Checking Out
Got all my stuff, headed to the checkout. Line wasn’t too bad, maybe two people ahead of me. Cashier was friendly enough. Scanned everything, paid up. Bagged it all myself, easier that way sometimes. Threw it all in the back seat of the truck.
Felt pretty good. Got gas, got supplies, didn’t take too long. Now I was actually ready to head down to the stadium and enjoy the game without worrying about being thirsty or hungry right away. Just a simple, successful brewers kwik trip.
