You know, it’s funny how memory plays tricks on you. The other day, I was trying to remember all the big shows from way back in 2000 for the WWF, or WWE as they call it now. What a year for wrestling that was, right? But for the life of me, I couldn’t list them all out in order straight away. It really bugged me, ’cause I watched every single one back then, religiously.
So, I decided to do a bit of digging. My first step was just trying to jog my own memory. Royal Rumble, that was a definite. WrestleMania 2000, or WrestleMania 16 as some call it, obviously. SummerSlam, yup. But then the gaps started showing. What about the others? The ones that weren’t the “big four” back then?
I went online, of course. But you can’t just trust the first thing you see. Some fan sites are great, others, well, not so much. I poked around a few of the more reputable wrestling history spots. I looked for consistency, you know? Trying to see if multiple sources agreed on the names and dates. It took a little while, sifting through stuff, making sure I wasn’t mixing up years either, ’cause 1999 and 2001 were pretty packed too.
After a bit of cross-referencing and some “aha!” moments when a name clicked back into place, I finally put together a solid list. It’s kinda satisfying, like putting pieces of a puzzle together from way back when.

Looking at that list now, man, it brings back some memories. Twelve PPVs in one year! They were really churning them out. Each one felt like a big deal back then. Anyway, that’s the list I put together. Took a bit of effort, but it’s good to have it straight in my head again.
