Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this guy Feid rocking some pretty cool sunglasses lately. And like, I really wanted to find out what kind they were and maybe even try them on for myself. Here’s how it went down:
First, I did a little digging on the internet. Turns out, this dude Feid is almost always wearing Oakley sunglasses. Specifically, I saw a bunch of pictures where it looked like he had on the Oakley Gascan model. They look pretty sharp, I gotta say.
Now, I’m not just gonna buy some sunglasses without trying them on first, right? That’s crazy. So, I found this app, I think it was called Glasses by Warby Parker or something? Anyway, this thing is wild. It uses this AR stuff, which is like, augmented reality, to let you try on glasses virtually. You just look at your phone, and bam, the glasses are on your face. It’s kinda freaky but also super helpful.
I browsed through their stuff, and while they didn’t have the exact Oakley Gascans that Feid wears, they had a ton of other Oakley sunglasses. I tried on a few different styles using the app. It was pretty fun, I won’t lie. You can just swipe down and switch between different pairs really easily.
I also learned a little bit about sunglass lenses. Apparently, there’s this thing called Prizm ™ which is supposed to make colors look more vibrant. And then there’s polarized lenses, which are good for cutting down on glare from the sun. Some sunglasses have both, which sounds pretty awesome. But it’s not like every Prizm ™ lens is also polarized. You gotta check.
