Why I Needed Celery So Bad
Okay so I started playing Palworld yesterday, right? Got stuck trying to cook that dang Vegetable Curry recipe. Every guide says “get celery” but zero clues where. Ran around like an idiot punching bushes for hours. All I got were berries and sticks. Even my Pal got bored and fell asleep. Figured I ain’t the only noob struggling with this crap.

My Disaster Trial-and-Error Run
First I tried the Bamboo Groves near spawn point. Big mistake. Only found bamboo shoots and angry monkeys. Wasted three in-game days there. Next thought: “maybe near water?” Trekked to the riverbank – caught fish, saw reeds, but celery? Nope. Almost drowned when a Gobfin pushed me in. Legit thought celery was a myth at this point.
The Actual Solution (Simple AF)
Took me forever, but I finally found a patch while running from a boss fight near Plateau of Beginnings. Panicked, tripped over some rocks, and boom – glowing green stalks everywhere! Here’s exactly how I did it:
- Fast-travel to Plateau of Beginnings Waypoint
- Head northwest past the broken cart (watch for level 10 Relaxasaurs)
- Look for tan sandy patches near cliffs – not grass or forest areas
- Spam “F” button around small green plants (they look like stubby parsley)
Got 16 celery in two minutes once I stopped overcomplicating it. Felt so dumb.
Dumb Mistakes I Made So You Don’t
- Don’t waste time farming meadows – celery ONLY spawns in arid zones
- Ignore the map icons – they show resources generally, not celery specifically
- Stop at daytime – spawns vanish at night for some reason
Bottom line: celery ain’t rare, just stupidly location-locked. Hope my facepalm moments save you hours!
