Hey everyone, it’s your boy coming at you with another one of my little projects. So, the other day I was scrolling through my socials and I stumbled upon this name, Derek Reyes. Sounds pretty ordinary, right? But something about it just caught my eye, and you know me, I had to dig deeper. I mean, who is this Derek Reyes guy?
First thing I did was hit up Facebook. I typed in “Derek Reyes” and boom, tons of profiles popped up. It’s like, whoa, there are a lot of people with this name! I clicked on a few, trying to find the one that sparked my interest. Facebook is great for getting a quick glimpse into someone’s life, you know, seeing who they’re connected to and all that. But honestly, it didn’t really give me the answers I was looking for.
Next, I hopped on LinkedIn, thinking maybe this Derek Reyes is some big-shot professional. And guess what? There are like 80+ professionals named Derek Reyes on there! I browsed through some profiles, looking at their work experience and connections. I found one that mentioned “Director, Tourism Sales, New York Cruise Lines” with over 500+ connections. That’s pretty impressive, but still not the full picture. It got me thinking, is this guy a rising star in some industry?
I even came across some stuff about a Derek Reyes being a rising star in Vancouver’s development industry. Interesting, right? But I wanted to know more about him as a person, not just his career.
Then there was this other mention of a Derek Reyes being part of a series about rising music stars. This got me excited because I’m all about that music life. Could he be a musician? An artist? My mind was racing with possibilities.
I also found an article talking about a sports player, Texans CB Derek Stingley Jr., guarding famous players. I do not know him at all. It seems that he is also a rising star.

So, after all this digging, I still have more questions than answers. Who is the Derek Reyes I’m looking for? Is he a businessman, a musician, or someone else entirely? I guess the search continues.
