Alright guys, today I really wanted to find out exactly who made the U.S. Olympics tennis team roster this year. Seemed simple enough, right? But man, it turned into this whole thing.

The Search Begins
Started off like always – popped open my laptop and typed something like “US tennis Olympics team players” into a search engine. Figured it’d be the first result. Nope. Got tons of news articles talking about players who might get picked, or arguing about who should go, but nothing official. Kept scrolling, getting more annoyed. All this clickbait saying “Will This Star Play?” or “Shocking Omission?” Useless.
Smacked my head thinking there’s gotta be an official place for this. Tried the US Olympic Committee website. Big mistake. That thing is a maze. Found sections for “sports,” clicked on tennis… and boom, just general info about tennis at the Olympics. Past results, how the sport works. Zero list. Felt like running in circles.
Getting More Desperate
Decided to try the U.S. Tennis Association site – you know, *. Since they pick the team, made sense. Digging through menus: “About USTA,” “Players,” “Tournaments”… finally found a “Team USA” section. Felt hopeful. Clicked it… mostly saw stuff about the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup teams. Frustration building.
Started trying different word combos directly on the USTA site search bar:
- “olympic team 2024” – News about qualifying tournaments.
- “us olympic tennis roster” – An article from like 3 weeks ago speculating.
- “paris tennis team” – Info about the venue.

So close, yet so far. Where’s the actual dang list?
The Lightbulb Moment
Sat back, took a breath. Thought, “Who actually runs the US team for the Olympics? Like, who signs off?” Ding! Remembered it’s the USTA, but specifically for the Olympics, they have a selection committee. Needed to find that announcement.
Went back to *, but this time ignored the menus and pounded their news section. Scrolled past like a hundred posts about junior tournaments and sponsorships. Eyes glazing over. Then, way down… bam!

There it was! A news release titled something like “USTA Names US Tennis Team for 2024 Olympic Games Paris.” Published just a couple of days ago. Finally! Clicked it open and held my breath.
The Full Squad
The article laid it all out. Plain and simple. Felt so good after all that hunting. Wrote ’em all down:
- For the fellas: Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, Chris Eubanks, Rajeev Ram, and Austin Krajicek.
- For the ladies: Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Emma Navarro, Danielle Collins, Desirae Krawczyk, and Caroline Dolehide.
Oh yeah, they also named Marcus Willis and Rinky Hijikata as alternates. Good to know.
Honestly, it was way harder than it should’ve been. Like, why bury the official list? Folks wanna know this stuff! Just save everyone the hassle and put a big fat link on the homepage saying “OLYMPIC TEAM ROSTER HERE.” Simple! Spent maybe 25 minutes just trying to confirm what should take 30 seconds. Wild. But hey, got the names.
