So, I decided I needed a new hobby, something to get me outdoors and stop me from just binge-watching shows every weekend. My friend Sarah, who’s been golfing for ages, kept bugging me to try it. I was like, “Golf? Isn’t that for, like, old dudes in weird pants?” But she wore me down.
First thing was getting some clubs. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money because, honestly, I wasn’t sure if I’d stick with it. The set came with pretty much everything a beginner like me would need to just get out there and start swinging. Woods, irons, a putter, and the bag. No fuss, no needing to figure out a million different individual clubs to buy. That alone was a big win for me.
So yeah, my journey with the Wilson Ultra Ladies golf clubs has been pretty positive. They’re not miracle workers – I still send balls into the woods or top them embarrassingly short. But for someone just starting out, who doesn’t want to break the bank and wants something user-friendly that can take a bit of a beating, they’ve been a solid choice. I’m actually looking forward to getting out there again, which is something I definitely wouldn’t have said a few months ago.
