Okay, folks, let’s dive into how I figured out this heavy combo thing in WWE 2K24. It wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, I gotta admit.

First, I jumped into the game, picked my favorite wrestler (The Rock, obviously!), and just started messing around in a regular match. I was getting my butt kicked, mostly because I was just button-mashing. That’s when I realized I needed a plan.
So, I paused the game and went to the move list. It’s a bit overwhelming, to be honest. There are tons of moves! I scrolled through, trying to find something that looked “heavy.” The descriptions help a little, but it’s still kinda confusing.
Then I spent some time in the training mode. This is where the real work started. I picked a heavy attack (I think it was a powerbomb) and just kept practicing the button combination. Up, down, X, Y… or whatever it was. It took a while to get the timing right.
Figuring Out the Combo Part
The tricky part is stringing the heavy attack into a combo. I learned (the hard way!) that you can’t just do two heavy attacks in a row. You gotta mix it up. So, I started experimenting.
- I tried a light attack, then a heavy attack. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t.
- I tried a grapple, then a heavy attack. This seemed to work better!
- I figured out that timing is EVERYTHING. You gotta hit the buttons at just the right moment, or the combo breaks.
I am not sure if it is considered as a ‘heavy combo’, but I successfully did serveral light attacks, then a grapple, finnaly a heavy attack.

Honestly, it took me a good few hours of practice to get it down consistently. And I’m still learning new combos! It’s all about finding what works for you and your wrestler. Don’t be afraid to experiment and keep practicing. You’ll get there!
