Alright, guys, let’s talk about what went down at WWE Day 1 2024. I gotta say, it was a wild night! I settled in, got my snacks ready, and prepared for a long night of wrestling.
The show kicked off, and I noticed something different right away. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett gave us the rundown of the card. I thought, “Okay, this is unusual,” but I rolled with it. They mentioned that a former WWE Champion would return, and my mind immediately started racing. Who could it be?
- Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax: This match was intense. I was on the edge of my seat, watching these two powerhouses go at it. It was a real back-and-forth battle. Nia Jax ended up winning, but Becky gave it her all.
Then, the moment we were all waiting for – The Rock’s music hit. The place went nuts! I jumped up, screaming like a little kid. It was such a surprise! He came out, electrified the crowd, and it was just an awesome moment. Classic Rock, you know?
I also remember seeing something about Damage CTRL’s attack last week and some sort of retaliation. I guess they are really stirring things up!
Some other stuff that stood out:
CM Punk’s promo. That guy always knows how to work a crowd. And The New Day’s celebration – you could feel the emotion. It was a real feel-good moment.
I saw Gunther’s name pop up. I recalled that he was the World Heavyweight Champion, after defeating Damian Priest last August.
All in all, WWE Raw Day 1 2024 was a night to remember. I mean, The Rock showing up? Come on! It was a great way to kick off the new year, and I’m already pumped for what’s next.
