Okay, so today I decided to mess around with “yankees fundamentals.” It’s something I’ve been meaning to get to, and I finally carved out some time for it. I’ve got my trusty notebook and pen ready – I’m old school like that; I like to jot things down as I go.

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to actually figure out what I was even doing. I mean, “fundamentals” is pretty broad, right? So I started by listing every basic skill I needed, everything must be simple.
Breaking it Down
After listing, I went and practiced one by one, making it to be a step-by-step thing.
- First Step:xxxx.I spent, like,a solid 30 minutes just on this, kept failing on it until finally I got it.
- Second Step:* was a bit trickier,it invovles some skills, and finally I did it.
- Third Step:zzzz,This one’s all about * me a few tries, but I eventually nailed it.
Putting it All Together
Once I felt like I had a decent handle on the individual pieces, I started trying to string them together. This was… rough, at first. It’s one thing to do each step in isolation, but it’s a whole different ballgame to make them flow smoothly.
I kept messing up, dropping the, well,I had to start over like, a million times. But, slowly but surely, I started to see some improvement. I wasn’t perfect, not by a long shot, but I was definitely getting better. I could feel the movements becoming more natural, more ingrained.

Final Thoughts (for Now)
So, that’s where I’m at with the “yankees fundamentals” project. It’s definitely a work in progress, and I’ve got a long way to go. But I’m feeling pretty good about the progress I made today. It’s all about those small victories, right? And hey, even if I never become a master, at least I’m having fun and learning something new. I’ll keep plugging away at it, and maybe I’ll do another update down the road.
