Okay, so I finally got my hands on a YZ 450 CC. I’ve been wanting to try one of these beasts for ages, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

Getting Started
First things first, I familiarized myself with the bike. I’m used to smaller bikes, so this was a big step up. I spent some time just sitting on it, getting a feel for the controls, the weight, and the balance.
- Checked the tire pressure.
- Made sure the brakes were responsive.
- Adjusted the levers to fit my hands comfortably.
- Topped up the oil and the fuel for the engine.
The First Ride
I started out slow, just getting a feel for the power delivery. This thing has some serious torque! I practiced in an open field, gradually increasing the throttle and getting used to how the bike responded. The clutch is smooth, and the suspension soaks up bumps like a champ.
After a while, I felt comfortable enough to start opening it up a bit more. Man, this thing flies! The acceleration is insane, and it handles surprisingly well for such a powerful machine. I did have a few “oops” moments when the rear end stepped out, but I quickly learned to control the throttle and keep the bike in line, the power is addictive!
Taking it to the Track
Once I felt confident with the basics, I took the YZ 450 CC to a local motocross track. This is where the bike really shines. The power is perfect for clearing jumps, and the suspension handles the rough terrain like a dream. I spent a few hours just riding around, pushing myself and the bike to the limit.
Final Thoughts
The YZ 450 CC is a beast of a machine. It’s not for beginners, but if you have some experience and you’re looking for a powerful, responsive, and incredibly fun bike, this is it. I’m totally hooked! I can’t wait to get back out there and ride it some more.

I’ll keep you guys updated on my future adventures with the YZ 450 CC. Stay tuned!
